Lego camp and Summer Playdates

Here is a picture of what I like to call popsicle island. We had a few friends over to swim and hangout, and this was the calmest time--when everyone stopped moving and enjoyed a cold popsicle.

Truett honestly believes he is a power ranger. And this group of "superheros" dressed in tight spandex are some of the cheesiest on the planet. Anyway, here is Truett dressed as a power ranger while watching a power ranger movie and acting out all the karate chopping fighting scenes. It really is quite comical to watch.

Also during this busy week, my Dad--aka papa--turned 61. So we went to Pappasitos to celebrate. Here Truett is singing to him right before he takes over blowing out the candle (notice there are not 61 candles on that lone cupcake).

Owen had lego camp this week, which combined building legos and robots. He was so excited about the whole deal. He buddied up with a boy named Oscar, so they named themselves the "O team"-- for Owen and Oscar. It really was cute. All these mini-men creating and building-- I sure hope Owen stays on this path and becomes an engineer or something. That way, when alzheimer's fully takes over his mother, hopefully he can afford a good home to put me in!

It was difficult to get a good video of the robots destroying the city, but here is what I got.
